Sports illustrated added an "heavy weight"  to its 2013 Swimsuit Edition! well....she's not that heavy though.

What happens in Ireland should (not?) stay in Ireland! - Nic Von Rupp Video

It's freeeeezing out there guys, where's the fun?? This is what you start by asking yourself when you first press play to Nic's new video called Divine Intervention. 

Then you say to yourself, ohhh! it's Ireland again! The Mullaghmore beast!

No matter how many times you watch it, it feels as insane as the first time, awesome, hollow, sharp freak barrels at an Irish slab. Check the late take off at 3:13!

PS: We think Nic did the right thing by switching flights last minute from Hawaii to Ireland in order o prepare for the upcoming contest in Pipeline Hawaii, where actually he through some bombs.

It's not about the Waves too! Aritz @ Les Landes, France West Coast

In our previous post, Kepa Acero, the soul surfer from the Spanish Basque Country was saying it was not only about the waves....it was beyond that; and actually this new post we bring over to you is not only about the waves too.

Big wave riding @ Nazaré, Portugal - 11th January 2013

Here's the most recent video release about Nazaré big surfing days. The Billabong tough crew  composed by Shane Dorian, Eric Rebiere and Benjamin Sanchis did well in one of the biggest swells of the year so far, very similar to the waves surfed by McNamara in 2012 with 78 ft. 

On Friday 11th January, the boys dropped enormous waves. Shane said "if you had paddled into the biggest waves today, you would have paddled into the biggest wave ever paddled. I have no doubt about that.”

“As far as intensity, power and size goes you could compare this wave to anywhere, whether it’s Cortez Bank, Jaws or Mavericks,” Dorian said.

2012 Carnival is in Madeira Island
